In our work to achieve our third LCVC goal:

"Effect change by promoting transparent communication and

independent lay involvement in church governance"

​

     LCVC steering committee sought individuals from various parts of the diocese with expertise in finance and accounting who would be willing to submit their names for appointment to the diocesan finance council. Currently by Canon Law, only the diocese can appoint individuals to this council. We submitted these names to the bishop as individuals who would be willing to be appointed.
